A Brazilian and Kiwi, I am a computing geek since my teenage years and a lifelong researcher. Since 2019, I have been at the University of Waikato, now as an Associate Professor.

My research work has addressed a range of challenges as technology evolved, covering the non-functional properties of performance, security and resilience of networked systems and their underlying protocols.

My key research interests are Internet measurements and network security.
